This document covers an alternate way of installing ATI Driver Updates when the standard installation method is not possible.

On my system InstallManagerApp.exe crashes as soon as I click the install button. The solution is to cd into the bin64 directory and run ATISetup.exe -install -output screen.

Doing this brings up another console window (with an ATI icon) which lists the packages it plans to install and then a whole lot of . characters as it does it. The display driver restarts once or twice and then it should finish leaving you with upgraded drivers.
