AVAILABILITY AND ORDERING The AlphaStation 200 4/166 and 200 4/233 desktop workstations are available now. The AlphaStation 200 4/166 and 200 4/233 support DEC OSF/1 V 3.0, OpenVMS AXP V6.1-1H1, and Microsoft Windows NT Workstation V3.5. For DEC OSF/1 and OpenVMS AXP systems, the operating system is factory-installed if at least one disk of sufficient size (1 Gbyte recommended) is ordered. Factory installed software (FIS) is not a substitute for media and documentation. Users order the required media and documentation kit as a separate line item. At least one media and documentation kit per site is recommended. For Microsoft Windows NT systems, the operating system is not factory installed. The Microsoft Windows NT Kit contains the license, media, and documentation (CD). The software installation is very easy and takes about 30 minutes. All options ordered with systems will be factory installed unless specified as spares. The AlphaStation 200 4/166 and 200 4/233 systems ("-AA" order numbers) include a choice of operating system, 32 Mbyte parity memory, 1.05 Gbyte SCSI disk, 1.44 Mbyte floppy drive, CD-ROM (Windows NT only), ZLXp-E1 2D/3D 8-plane graphics card, NAS 150 license (DEC OSF/1 and OpenVMS), Open3D license (DEC OSF/1 and OpenVMS), Multimedia Services license (DEC OSF/1 only), U.S. keyboard, mouse, U.S. power cord, integrated audio and Ethernet, headphone, microphone, and English user documentation. Systems can be set to 120 V or 240 V. Monitor is not included. All systems shipped from manufacturing are set to 240 V, and may be reset to 120 V by the user as required. The entry level Windows NT system ("-BA" order numbers) includes Microsoft Windows NT Workstation, 16 Mbyte parity memory, 340 Mbyte disk, DEC864 graphics, CD-ROM, integrated audio and Ethernet, headphone, microphone, U.S. keyboard, mouse, U.S. power cord, and English user documentation. The system can be set to 120 V or 240 V. Monitor is not included. The system variants ("-AB" and "-BB" order numbers) do not include a keyboard, power cord, or user documentation. These country-specific items should be ordered separately.
