The PDP-6 was
operated and programmed from Boston using a
12,000 mile, 5 hole telex code. It proved very
difficult to generate a control C in 5 hole code.
At one point in the session, Robin Frith in Perth
asks Alan Kotok in Massachusetts, "Do you
think you could let us poor Aussies have a bit of
