Our Digital Desktop products are "Year 2000 READY" and are backed by DIGITAL's "Year 2000 DIGITAL Product Warranty". Please check the DIGITAL Year 2000 web site for Product Status on other DIGITAL products.

Also verified is the recognition of leap year from 2000 to 2009 inclusive.

There are many software vendors offering test suites to test hardware platform and software application support for Year 2000.  DIGITAL has adopted NSTL's "YMARK2000" test suite to verify the Year 2000 readiness of DIGITAL's Desktop products.  These products are deemed "Year 2000 Ready" upon successful completion of NSTL's "YMARK2000" test. Note: The YMARK2000 test only tests the hardware's and firmware's ability to support the transition to the Year 2000 and not that of options, operating systems or software applications.

NOTE:  The BIOS version identified below indicates DIGITAL System BIOS revision.  When the system is in the process of booting you may see a Phoenix BIOS revision on the monitor.  This is the base core of the System BIOS.    DIGITAL provides enhancements to the base core thus producing the final DIGITAL System BIOS.

We will make every effort to regression test the system BIOS, for all Desktop products, to ensure Year 2000 Readiness. As a result of this, the following chart is not static and is subject to change based on results of BIOS regression tests.
