When you submit a problem report, it will
speed up the resolution of your problem if you include the following information from
the IP Switch with the problem:
1. Enter the IP address or node name of the IP Switch in the location
area of your web browser.
2. Press Enter.
3. Pull down the File menu of your web browser.
4. Click Save As.
5. Save the file as homepage.htm.
6. Click
on the clearVISN IP Switch Manager home page.
7. Click the Show Configuration Summary link.
8. Pull down the File menu of your web browser
9. Click Save As.
10. Save the file as confsumm.htm.
11. Click
on the clearVISN IP Switch Manager home page.
12. Click .
13. Click Events.
14. Pull down the File menu of your web browser
15. Click Save As.
16. Save the file as eventlog.htm.
17. Click
on the clearVISN IP Switch Manager home page.
18. Click .
19. Click Diag.
20. Click the Routing Table link.
21. Pull down the File menu of your web browser
22. Click Save As.
23. Save the file as routetab.htm.
24. Click on the clearVISN IP Switch Manager home page.
25. Provide the four files (homepage.htm, confsumm.htm,
eventlog.htm, and routetab.htm), with a message describing
the problem to either your DIGITAL Multivendor Customer Service representative or to your
DIGITAL authorized value-added reseller (VAR) or distributor.
