(If you are using a different drive designator replace the A: with the correct drive letter.) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. A new Program Group will be added to your Programs, called "RoamAbout Utilities". A Status Monitor will also be added to your "StartUp" group, that will automatically get executed when every you start your computer. To start the utility, there will be an icon in on the "Start" bar or you can select the "RoamAbout Site Survey & Configuration Tool" from the Program group under "RoamAbout Utilities". The usage of this utility is self explanatory or you can use the HELP utility within the tool to help you further. Troubleshooting =============== After you install the RoamAbout/FH driver, you are prompted to reboot the your computer. As the driver loads upon bootup, you should see the green LED flicker briefly in the presence of other RoamAbout/FH equipment. If there are no LEDs and you are unable to access the rest of your network, the driver may have loaded improperly. You can verify this by going to Control Panel and choosing the System icon. Under the Device Manager tab, double-click the Network Adapter line. If the RoamAbout/FH driver is listed with an exclamation point (!) or X next to it, the driver did not load. This may be due to a resource conflict, i.e. memory address, I/O port address or IRQ. If the driver loads successfully but you still cannot access the network, verify the Domain, Station Type and Security ID settings match those of the other unit you are trying to communicate with. These settings are described in detail in the RoamAbout/FH User’s Guide.
