 Dear BASEstar Customer,

 We are pleased to supply you with the Digital Device Access Soft-
 ware for Modicon on Digital UNIX, Version 3.0. This product allows
 users to access Modicon Programmable Logic Controllers through
 BASEstar Open Device Services, BASEstar Open Data Services or DE-
 Comni Services. The V3.0 release updates the software to run on
 BASEstar Open V3.0.

 For installation instructions, please refer to the "Digital Device
 Access Software for Modicon with BASEstar on Digital UNIX" manual
 or the "Digital Device Access Software for Modicon with DEComni
 on Digital UNIX" manual packaged in the product documentation
 kit. The release notes for this product also contain installation-
 related instructions, plus a summary of technical changes, known
 problems, restrictions, and incompatibilities. You will find the
 release notes in the /usr/opt/doumod300/doc directory of the bi-
 nary kit.
