The main product is the Micro Focus COBOL Software Developer Suite for DIGITAL UNIX, which consist of Micro Focus COBOL, Micro Focus Toolbox, and Micro Focus Dialog System. For the deployment of the developed appli- cations, there is the Micro Focus COBOL Application Server for DIGITAL UNIX, previously referred to as the Micro Focus Operating System Extensions (OSX) product. License Management Facility (LMF) Information Before you can use the Micro Focus COBOL Software Developer Suite, an LMF PAK must be registered and loaded. See the Micro Focus COBOL Installation Guide for DIGITAL UNIX Systems for more in- formation. Purchase of a valid Application Server license and installation of an LMF PAK are required when deploying Micro Focus COBOL based applications to production systems to ensure support and to conform with licensing and royalty obligations. Installation Information Installing Micro Focus COBOL requires DIGITAL UNIX Version 4.0. The CD-ROM Distribution Media contains the product installation kits and related documentation.
