Hewlett-Packard Read Before Installing or Using HP BASIC Version 1.5A for OpenVMS Alpha Systems AV-Q29TG-TE November 2003 This release corrects a problem with the installation of HP BASIC on OpenVMS Alpha Systems Version 7.3-2. The installation fails if the system definitions library (STARLET) is asked to be generated. If it is not requested (which is the default), the installation proceeds normally. Installation Information Installing HP BASIC requires OpenVMS Alpha operating system Version 6.2 or higher for the base level product, and Version 7.1 or higher for IEEE floating data type support.
