           This kit contains the POLYCENTER Network Manager 400, Version 3.0.
           This package includes all the features available with DECmcc under
           OpenVMS V7.1 for Alpha.


           License Registration

           To run this product you need a license for DECMCC-EMS-ALPHA.


           Documentation

           Depending on your order, this kit may include manuals. These rep-
           resent a subset of unaltered manuals from a previous product ver-
           sion for VAX. They cover the supported functional scope of V3.0.
           Wherever VAX platforms and the VMS operating system are mentioned
           - these should be read as Alpha / OpenVMS. Please refer to this
           version's Release Notes for important changes between PNM400 V3.0
           and the previous DECmcc versions on VAX.


           Release Notes Information

           The POLYCENTER Network Manager 400 Release Notes for Version 3.0
           are part of the distribution kit. You should read the Release
           Notes because they contain important product considerations.

           o  For VMS systems, you can access the Release Notes as part of
              the installation by specifying OPTIONS N when you invoke VMSIN-
              STAL:

              $ @SYS$UPDATE:VMSINSTAL MCCEMS030 ddcn: OPTIONS N

              If you use OPTIONS N with VMSINSTAL, you are asked whether you
              want the Release Notes displayed, printed (or both), copied to
              SYS$HELP, or none of these options.

           o  This kit is not available on OpenVMS VAX.
