Availability Manager V3.0-2 Cover Letter

    The Availability Manager Engineering group is pleased to
    announce the Version 3.0-2 of the Availability Manager.

    This version includes one of the most requested features -
    the ability to collect data over a wide area network using
    the IP protocol suite.

    Part of the efforts in this release is to have the OpenVMS
    installation kits detect the installation requirements, and
    output various messages describing the requirements that
    are not met.  The kits now detect the necessary privileges
    and other requirements.

    The communications protocol between the Data Analyzer and
    Data Server for Version 3.0-2 has changed from Versions
    3.0 and 3.0-1.  You need to install the Combined kit or
    Windows kit onto each Data Server system to use Version
    3.0-2 of the Data Analyzer.
