These parameters need to be higher depending upon your use of Save Set Manager. Network access may not be specified for either input or output save set file specifications. 2 Problems fixed in SSM V1.9-1 2.1 IVP Fails When on Read-Only Device When the current default directory was on a read-only device, the IVP failed with the error message: %DCL-E-OPENOUT, error opening device:[SSM.KIT]BLUE.FIL; as output -RMS-E-WLK, device currently write locked The Save Set Manager IVP has failed. 2.2 SSM Help Not Available to Non-Privileged Users If a user did not have elevated privileges, asking for HELP within SSM would result in the following error message: $ saveset help %HELP-E-OPENIN, error opening SYS$COMMON:[SYSHLP]SSM$HELP.HLB; as input -RMS-E-PRV, insufficient privilege or file protection violation 2.3 File SSM$HELP.HLP Not Removed During PRODUCT REMOVE After uninstalling SSM with a PRODUCT REMOVE command, the file SYS$HELP:SSM$HELP.HLB remained on the system. 3 Changes made in SSM V1.9-1 SSM no longer updates the verb SAVESET in the node-specific DCL tables (SYS$SPECIFIC:[SYSLIB]DCLTABLES.EXE). Previous versions would update the node-specific file if one existed on your system. 1
