Dear DECprint Supervisor Customer:

Thank you for purchasing DECprint Supervisor (DCPS) for OpenVMS
V1.8. DCPS is a layered product that runs on OpenVMS VAX and
Alpha systems to provide access to select PostScript Level 1,
Level 2, and Level 3 printers. The DCPS V1.8 software and the
following documentation reside on the Software Product Library
CD-ROM:

   Software Product Description (SPD)
   V1.8 Release Notes
   V1.8 Installation Guide

Complete documentation for DCPS V1.8 is on the associated Online
Documentation Library CD-ROM.

Before installing this product, please take a few minutes to
read the Release Notes. For complete information about this
product, refer to the DECprint Supervisor for OpenVMS Software
Product Description (SPD 44.15.10) included in the kit. The
license rights to use DCPS-Base with DIGITAL- and COMPAQ-branded
PostScript printers are included with the OpenVMS operating
system. A license is needed for DCPS-OPEN and DCPS-PLUS.

As mentioned in the DCPS V1.7 cover letter, TK50 and magnetic
tape distribution media have been retired. DCPS will continue to
ship on CD-ROM media.
