WARNING If you are installing DEC/EDI Version 2.1D over a previous version of DEC/EDI, there are some important things you need to do before installation. These are described in the DEC/EDI Installing book. If you do not follow the recommended pro- cedure, you may lose data and configuration information from your system. If you are not already familiar with the key developments intro- duced in the DEC/EDI V2 architecture, you are strongly recommended to read the DEC/EDI Introduction book before proceding with the software installation. The software installation kit contains a Release Notes document which provides: o A description of the main changes made in DEC/EDI Version 2.1D. o A detailed description of the problems fixed and enhancements made in Version 2.1D. o A description of the known remaining problems. Before installing this software kit you are recommended to read the Release Notes. Accessing the Online Release Notes To obtain a copy of the Release Notes: 1.
