   Dear PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (Macintosh) Customer:

   Thank you for purchasing Digital's PATHWORKS for OpenVMS
   (Macintosh) software. PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (Macintosh) is
   one member of the PATHWORKS family of software products,
   which provide Macintosh and PC networking and multivendor
   network operating system (NOS) integration in local and
   wide area networks.

   The enclosed media contains the PATHWORKS for OpenVMS
   (Macintosh) V1.3 server software. This release provides
   support for OpenVMS on both the VAX and Alpha platforms.

 LICENSE          MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

   Another feature of the PATHWORKS family of products
   is license management capabilities, based on Digital's
   standard License Management Facility (LMF).

   When you order your PATHWORKS licenses, you receive one
   or more license keys (PAKs), representing the number of
   PATHWORKS licenses you purchased. PAKs are shipped to you
   separately. Please retain your PAKs for future use and
   store your hardcopy PAKs in a safe place; they are your
   proof of license.

 STARTED

   To start using PATHWORKS, refer to the Server Installation
   and Configuration Guide. This document (hardcopy or online)
   provides the information you need to install, configure,
   and get started using PATHWORKS software. Make sure that
   you look at the online release notes for any last minute,
   important notices.

   We are sure you will find that PATHWORKS V1.3 for OpenVMS
   (Macintosh) software solves your NOS integration needs
