                        ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant Version 1.1

                                READ BEFORE YOU INSTALL

          Thank you for purchasing ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant. This letter con-
          tains information you need to know before you install the software.

                                Installation Information

          ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant Version 1.1 requires the following soft-
          ware:

          o  OpenVMS Version 5.4 or later

          o  ALL-IN-1 Version 3.0 or later

          Before you install ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant Version 1.1, you must
          register the product using the Product Authorization Key (PAK) pro-
          vided in this kit. See the VMS License Management Facility for reg-
          istration instructions.

                                  Product Information

          ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant is a powerful tool, but it is important
          that you plan properly before you begin to use the product. There are
          some useful hints and guidelines in the Release Notes, which Digital
          strongly recommends that you read before you begin to use ALL-IN-1 Per-
          sonal Assistant.

                               Release Notes Information

          Please read the Release Notes before installing ALL-IN-1 Personal As-
          sistant. They contain installation-related information, known prob-
          lems and restrictions, plus hints and guidelines for using ALL-IN-1
          Personal Assistant.

          You can read the release notes before installation by invoking VMSINSTAL
          and following the instructions in the installation guide. You can lo-
          cate the release notes after installation by typing the following com-
          mand at DCL ($) level:

             $ TYPE SYS$HELP:A1PA011.RELEASE_NOTES

                                  Contents of Your Kit

          o  Media

          o  Documentation. Your kit should include the following documentation:

                ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant User's Guide
                ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant System Manager's Guide
                ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant Installation Guide

 





          o  Product Authorization Key (PAK)

             The PAK contains information you need to register ALL-IN-1 Personal
             Assistant. You must do this before you install the software.

          o  Software Product Description (SPD)

             The SPD provides an overview of ALL-IN-1 Personal Assistant.

          o  Software System Addendum (SSA)

             The SSA provides hardware and software requirements for ALL-IN-1
             Personal Assistant.

          o  Software Performance Report (SPR)

             Use this form to report any problems with ALL-IN-1 Personal Assis-
             tant.
