          1  KAP for VAX C Kit

          The KCC011 saveset contains Version 1.1 of KAP for VAX C. This
          software requires OpenVMS Version 5.5 or higher running on a
          VAX system. VAX C is a prerequisite layered product. If VAX C
          is not installed at the time of installation, the Installation
          Verification Procedure (IVP) will fail.

          The installation of KAP for VAX C requires 5500 free blocks.

          KAP for VAX C is available on a TK50 or 9-track magnetic tape.

          accessible with Bookreader.

          The documentation kit is also available in hard copy format from

          After the installation, please review the online release notes
          that can be found in
          SYS$HELP:KCC011.RELEASE_NOTES.

          4   Reporting Problems

          If you encounter a problem while using KAP for VAX C, report it
          to Digital. Depending on the nature of the problem and the type
          of support you have, you can take one of the following actions:

          o  Call Digital if your software contract or warranty agreement
             entitles you to telephone support.

          o  Submit a Software Performance Report (SPR).
