           Thank you for purchasing the OpenVMS SNA Version 2.2 software
           product. This package contains the OpenVMS SNA V2.2 software and
           documentation. Check the bill of materials to be sure your distri-
           bution kit contains all the items listed. If any of the items are
           missing or damaged, please contact your Digital representative.

           Before installing the product, please take a few minutes to
           read the OpenVMS SNA software release notes. You can find
           the release notes on the distribution disk in the directory
           SYS$HELP:SNAVMS$022.RELEASE_NOTES.

           For complete information about the product, refer to the OpenVMS
           SNA Software Product Description (SPD 62.63.00).

           Features

           OpenVMS SNA is a layered software product that allows OpenVMS
           VAX systems to communicate with IBM systems using the IBM System
           Network Architecture (SNA) protocols.

           New features for Version 2.2 of OpenVMS SNA include the following:

           o  DECnet/OSI (Phase V) support, including support for VAX PSI
              5.0 and Wide Area Network Device Drivers (WANDD) V2.0, plus
              continuing support of DECnet-VAX (Phase IV).

           o  OpenVMS VAX V6.0 and 6.1 support, plus continuing support of
              V5.5-2 and later.

           o  Support for the Common Trace Facility (CTF) for troubleshooting
              DECnet/OSI networks.

           The OpenVMS SNA software documentation set includes the following
           manuals:

           o  OpenVMS SNA Installation

           o  OpenVMS SNA Management

           o  OpenVMS Guide to IBM Parameters

           o  OpenVMS Problem Solving

           Documentation is available in Bookreader format on the layered
           product documentation CD-ROM. If you need to order any additional
