License Management Facility (LMF) Information Before you install DEC C, an LMF Product Authorization Key (PAK) must be registered and loaded (see the DEC C Installation Guide for OpenVMS Alpha Systems). If you purchased the Software Product Library CD-ROM, your system manager should ensure that the BOOKBROWSER PAK has been activated so that documentation files can be viewed with Bookreader[TM] software. Installation Information Installing this product requires the OpenVMS[TM] Alpha operating system Version 6.1 or higher. A Media CD-ROM is included with either the Software Product Library CD-ROM or the DEC C for OpenVMS Alpha Media and Docu- mentation Kit. Your Media CD-ROM contains the installation save sets (kit) and installation guide (DEC C Installation Guide for OpenVMS Alpha Systems) for installing DEC C Version 5.7. DEC C Documentation The DEC C documents are provided both as Bookreader and HTML files on the Online Documentation Library CD-ROM. To read either format, use the Bookshelf Navigation Utility (BNU) provided on the Online Documentation Library CD-ROM. Contents of the Kit o Bill of Materials (BOM) Please read the BOM enclosed in this kit and check to see that all items listed are actually in your kit.
