MUP NUMBER: DXML331_RT ----------- PRODUCT: Digital Extended Math Library for Digital UNIX -------- UPDATED PRODUCT: Digital Extended Math Library for Digital UNIX 3.3A ---------------- APPRX BLCK SIZE: 96000 ---------------- DIGITAL Digital Extended Math Library (DXML) Version 3.3A for Digital UNIX Run-Time Kit Please Read Before Installation December 1996 1 DXML Version 3.3A Run-Time Kit DXML Version 3.3A is identical to DXML Version 3.3 with one exception as follows. The installation scripts for the parallel run time subset (XMRPLL330) has a too restrictive test that causes the wrong version of the library to be installed on some newer, yet to be released versions of Digital UNIX. The error causes the IVP to fail and the library not to work. DXML Version 3.3A with subset number 331 (eg. XMRPLL331) fixes the problem. Version 3.3 of DXML has had the following changes made since the release of Version 3.2 in January 1996: o Four random generator subprograms and two auxilary, input subprograms for parallel applications have been added to the DXML library. o Two quick sort and two general-purpose sort subprograms have been added to the DXML library. The kit includes the following subsets: o XMRLOA331 - serial library o XMRPLL331 - parallel library These subsets replace the previous DXML run-time distribution kit. The following documentation is available on the CD-ROM distribu- tion in Bookreader format: o Digital Extended Math Library for Digital UNIX Installation Guide The documentation kit is also available in hardcopy format from Digital.
