Dear BASEstar Customer,

We are pleased to supply you with version 3.1 of BASEstar Open
DAS for Modicon on OpenVMS. This product allows users to access
Modicon Programmable Controllers through BASEstar Open Device
Services, BASEstar Open Data Services or DEComni Services. The
V3.1 release updates the software to run on BASEstar Open V3.1.

For installation instructions, please refer to the "BASEstar
Open DAS for Modicon with BASEstar on OpenVMS" manual or the
"BASEstar Open DAS for Modicon with DEComni on OpenVMS" manual
packaged in the product documentation kit. The release notes
for this product also contain installation-related instructions,
plus a summary of technical changes, known problems, restric-
tions, and incompatibilities. You will find the release notes at
SYS$HELP: on the release kit.
