 Dear BASEstar Customer,

 We are pleased to supply you with the BASEstar Open DAS for Allen-
 Bradley Data Highway on Digital UNIX, Version 3.1. This product
 allows users to access Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Con-
 trollers through BASEstar Open Device Services, BASEstar Open
 Data Services or DEComni Services. The V3.1 release updates the
 software to run on BASEstar Open V3.1.

 For installation instructions, please refer to the "Digital Device
 Access Software for Allen-Bradley with BASEstar on Digital UNIX"
 manual or the "Digital Device Access Software for Allen-Bradley
 with DEComni on Digital UNIX" manual packaged in the product doc-
 umentation kit. The release notes for this product also contain
 installation-related instructions, plus a summary of technical
 changes, known problems, restrictions, and incompatibilities. You
 will find the release notes in the /usr/opt/douab310/doc directory
 of the binary kit.
