          Hewlett-Packard is pleased to announce the release of HP OpenVMS
          CIFS Version 1.2 ECO1 for OpenVMS Alpha and OpenVMS Integrity
          servers.

          HP OpenVMS Common Internet File System (CIFS) provides users
          with seamless file and print interoperability between OpenVMS
          and Windows-based clients. HP OpenVMS CIFS Version 1.2 ECO1 is
          supported on OpenVMS Alpha Version 8.3 or higher and OpenVMS
          Integrity servers Version 8.3 or higher.

          License Information

          HP CIFS is provided at no additional charge for users with a
          valid license to operate an OpenVMS operating system for an
          Integrity server or AlphaServer system.

          The Samba technology utilized in CIFS is bound by an Open Source
          software license.
