To use the POLYCENTER Security CM software, you must have a POLYCENTER Security CM license. Be- fore installing POLYCENTER Security CM, carry out the following steps: 1. Ensure you are running minimum of OpenVMS Version 6.2. 2. Verify that all items listed on the Software Bill of Materials are included in the software distribution kit and are not dam- aged. After installing the software, read the POLYCENTER Security CM for OpenVMS Release Notes, contained in the file: SYS$HELP:INSPECT$031.RELEASE_NOTES POLYCENTER Security CM for OpenVMS includes support for the Li- cense Management Facility (LMF). You must register a License Prod- uct Authorization Key (License PAK) in the License Database (LDB) before you use POLYCENTER Security CM for OpenVMS on a newly li- censed node. Use the PAK as instructed in the Installation Guide. Keep the PAK in a safe place for use with later releases of the operating system.
