Hewlett-Packard HP DECnet-Plus for OpenVMS Integrity servers and Alpha systems Version 8.4 March 2010 Dear Customer, The HP DECnet-Plus for OpenVMS software product is an imple- mentation of Phase V of the DIGITAL Network Architecture (DNA) for the OpenVMS operating system. DECnet-Plus networking soft- ware provides true network independence-you get full DECnet Phase IV and Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) functionality. In addition, with the installation of separate TCP/IP soft- ware, DECnet-Plus gives you the option to run DECnet and OSI applications over TCP/IP networks. Features HP DECnet-Plus for OpenVMS Version 8.4 software provides a set of applications for use on OpenVMS Integrity servers and Alpha systems, including the SSH feature introduced as a part of this release, and corrects some problems in previous versions. This release requires OpenVMS Version 8.4 of the operating system.
