DIGITAL Read Before Installing or Using DIGITAL[TM] Extended Math Library (DXML) Version 3.4 for Compaq's DIGITAL UNIX[R] Development Kit AV-PRYGJ-TE 1 DXML Version 3.4 Development Kit The DXML Version 3.4 Development Kit is supported on Compaq's DIGITAL UNIX Version 4.0 through Version 4.0D. The major change in DXML V3.4 since the V3.3a ECO release (April 1998) is that the SCIPORT library now obtains its BLAS and LAPACK code from the DXML library instead of including it. The user must link in either the serial or parallel DXML library. The kit includes the following subsets: o XMDLOA340 - serial library o XMDPLL340 - parallel library o XMDMAN340 - manpages o XMDSCI340 - SCIPORT These subsets replace the previous DXML distribution kit. Please note that the parallel library should be installed only on a multiprocessor (SMP) configuration running DIGITAL UNIX Version 4.0 or later.
