Licensing Information --------------------- Advanced Server for OpenVMS requires that clients accessing server resources be appropriately licensed. You must use the Client Access license with the Advanced Server for OpenVMS software. The order numbers for the Client Access licenses are QM-5SUAA-A*. See the Software Product Description (SPD 30.50.xx) for a listing of all license options. The minimum license required to access Advanced Server V7.A3-ECO2 for OpenVMS services is the Client Access license PWLMXXXCA07.03. Note: All licenses with earlier versions must be upgraded. Upgrade licenses are available. Product Authorization Keys (PAKs) for the Client Access licenses (PWLMXXXCA07.03) are fully supported only by the following software: o Advanced Server for OpenVMS, V7.2, V7.2A, V7.3, and V7.3A o PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (Advanced Server) V6.0, V6.0A, V6.0B, V6.0C, V6.0D, and V6.1 o PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (LAN Manager) V5.0F Customers using versions of PATHWORKS LAN Manager server prior to V5.0F and using licenses supported only by older versions are strongly encouraged to upgrade to V5.0F. Licenses supported by older versions of the server software are no longer offered. Only Client Access licenses are offered.
