         This release of VAXELN software provides development support on
         VAX OpenVMS systems and a runtime environment for a wide range
         of VAX computers. The kit incorporates several baselevels of
         post-V4.5 fixes. It also adds support for outbound Telnet and
         SCSI tape.

         Thank you for helping us validate this maintenance release with
         your application.

         VAXELN software is an OpenVMS layered product that is installed
         on a host OpenVMS development system. To install VAXELN software
         on a host system, you need distribution media and a VAXELN
         software license. In addition, you need a run-time license for
         each target system that you develop.

         Customers within the United States can call the Digital Realtime
         Expertise Center at 800-354-9000 to report problems, ask
         questions, or make suggestions. Outside the United States, call
         your local Digital representative.
