          Thank you for purchasing the Digital SNA 3270 Application Ser-
          vices, Version 1.3, software product. This kit contains the
          Digital SNA 3270 Application Services, Version 1.3, software and
          user documentation. Please check the bill of materials to see
          that all the items listed are in your distribution kit. If any
          item is missing or damaged, please contact your Compaq Computer
          Corporation representative.

          The Digital SNA 3270 Application Services, Version 1.3, product
          supports DIGITAL UNIX Version 4.0 or later and LMF requirements.

          Documentation

          The Digital SNA 3270 Application Services, Version 1.3, documen-
          tation set includes the following Version 1.2 manuals (all dated
          July or August 1996):

          o  Digital SNA 3270 Application Services
             Installation (DIGITAL UNIX) (AA-Q7VVB-TE)

          o  Digital SNA 3270 Application Services
             Programming and Management (AA-PPV3D-TK)

          For additional documentation specifically relating to the Ver-
          sion 1.3 software, refer to the product's Release Notes (see the
          Installation section for more information about accessing the
          product's Release Notes).

          Documentation is available in online format as part of the
          DIGITAL UNIX Online Documentation Library on CD-ROM. If you
          need to order any additional documentation, please contact your
          Compaq sales representative or refer to the ordering information
          in the Software Documentation Products Directory.

          Installation

          Register and load the product's PAK using the DIGITAL UNIX
          License Management Facility before you begin installation. Refer
          to the DIGITAL UNIX Guide to Software License Management for
          complete licensing information.

          Before installing the product, please take a few minutes to
          read the Digital SNA 3270 Application Services software release
          notes. The Installation manual describes how to access the
          product's release notes.

 
          To install, enter the following:

          # setld -l /mnt/r3270 R3270BASE130
