          HP DECwindows Motif for OpenVMS Alpha and OpenVMS for Integrity
          servers Version 1.6 Cover Letter

          July 2006

          Dear DECwindows Motif Customer,

          HP is pleased to introduce the HP DECwindows Motif for OpenVMS
          Alpha and OpenVMS for Integrity servers Version 1.6 releases.
          The DECwindows Motif on OpenVMS Alpha and for Integrity servers
          releases have support for client-server communications using
          the TCP/IP IPv6 protocol and IPv6 address formats along with bug
          fixes.

          Ordering Information

          When ordering DECwindows Motif for OpenVMS Alpha both a license
          and media must be ordered. The license deliverable provides the
          LMF PAK that is required to run the DECwindows Motif software.

          On OpenVMS Alpha, the DECwindows kit is available through the
          OpenVMS Software Product Library (Consolidated Software Distri-
          bution) on CD-ROM. A separate license is also required.

          On OpenVMS for Integrity servers, you would need to order an
          Operating Environment license and media. DECwindows is included
          in each of the Operating Environments. A separate license is
          not required for the DECwindows product. For more information,
          please refer to the DECwindows Software Product Description (SPD
          81.70.xx).

          DECwindows Motif Hardcopy Documentation Kit Contents:

          The DECwindows Motif Hardcopy kit (Optional) contains the fol-
          lowing:

          Software Requirements

          o  To run DECwindows Motif for Alpha Version 1.6, you must be
             running OpenVMS Alpha Version 8.3

          o  To run DECwindows Motif for Integrity servers Version 1.6,
             you must be running OpenVMS I64 Version 8.3.
