End of Software Products Library Shipments While HPE is committed to provide ongoing support for HPE OpenVMS for Alpha, as outlined at http://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04623087, this is the last release of the OpenVMS Alpha Software Products Library and the OpenVMS Alpha Online Documentation Library Packages. There will be no further updates for the software products covered by these packages. HPE recommends that you keep this December 2016 media safe, to have easy access to the included Software Products in the future. In case replacement media is required, it will be possible to order a package via the HPESC Portal located at https://h20575.www2.hpe.com/tsusbportal/index.do. In addition to the physical media, customers will also be able to download equivalent content from the Software Products Library website, using the instructions listed below. This chart is available at the Software Products Library website: http://h30266.www3.hpe.com/ProductUpdateHistory.asp Full-Kit Software Patches are included on the Software Products Library Please be aware that some products will ship a "Full-Kit Software Patch" on the Software Products Library. The "Full-Kit Software Patch" will be delivered either as a replacement or as an additional revision for the currently shipping software product. These software patches have been qualified and are approved for shipment to the Software Products Library audience. Software patches can be identified with an ECO in the Kit Type column. Details regarding the software patch version are available in each product's cover letter. The Full-Kit Software Patch should be handled as a maintenance release. HPE Services Tools The Services Tools and associated web pages may contain new diagnosis software that is applicable to the system and should be reviewed for the most recent updates to the diagnosis tools. The Services Tools for OpenVMS on Alpha Servers distribution contains analysis, diagnosis and remote support software, for example WEBES and ISEE, for use by Hewlett Packard Enterprise service engineers and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Authorized Service Provider service engineers. Products on the Software Products Library media will continue to be included on the quarterly distributions after they have entered mature software product status.
