 PRODUCT NAME:  SSU for OpenVMS Systems,                SPD 27.79.03
                Version 2.0

 DESCRIPTION

 SSU is a layered software product that implements Digital's propri-
 etary Terminal Device/Session Management Protocol (TD/SMP). SSU al-
 lows users to log on to and maintain multiple independent sessions on
 OpenVMS systems using Digital's VT330, VT340, or VT420 terminals. SSU
 software can be activated on either of the two communication ports on
 the VT330, VT340, and VT420 terminals.

 SSU software supports three types of connections to an OpenVMS host.

 o  Hardwired ASYNC line

 o  Modem line

 o  LAT line

 HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

 Processor/hardware configuration as specified in the System Support
 Addendum to this SPD (SSA 27.79.03-x).

 License units for this product are allocated on a CPU-capacity basis.
