第 2 章
日本語 DECwindows Motif のインストレーション

この章では，日本語 DECwindows Motif のインストレーション方法について説明します。

なお，インストレーション時にエラーが発生した場合は 第 5 章 を参照してください。

2.1 ソフトウェア・キット

日本語DECwindows Motif for OpenVMS は，次の 2 つのキットで構成されています。

日本語 DECwindows Motif V1.6 の環境を作るには，標準版DECwindows Motif V1.6 がインストールされているシステムに対して，国際化キット，日本語キットの順でインストレーションを行います。標準版DECwindows Motif のインストールは， OpenVMS オペレーティング・システムのインストール中に同時に行うことができます。標準版DECwindows Motif を単独でインストールする方法については， 第 2 部 を参照してください。

日本語DECwindows Motif V1.6 for OpenVMS の国際化キットおよび日本語キットは，以下のメディアで提供されています。

日本語 DECwindows Motif V1.6 のキットは， OpenVMS が提供する PCSI ユーティリティ (POLYCENTER ソフトウェア・インストレーション・ユーティリティ) で処理可能な PCSI 形式で提供されています。キット名は以下のとおりです。

2.2 国際化キットのインストレーション

ここでは，国際化DECwindows Motif V1.6 のインストール方法について説明します。

なお，インストレーション実行時にユーザの入力が必要な場合にはシステム・プロンプトが表示されますが，省略時の応答が大括弧 ([]) で囲まれて表示されます。省略時の応答をそのまま適用する場合は，リターン・キーを押してください。

  1. 特権付きアカウントにログインします。 


     Username: SYSTEM
 Password:

  2. POLYCENTER ソフトウェア・インストレーション・ユーティリティ (PCSI) を起動します。コマンドは次のとおりです。 


    $ PRODUCT INSTALL product_name /SOURCE=kit_location


    コマンド以下の要素は次のように定義されます。

    product_name

    プロダクト名です。キット名ではありません。
    国際化キットの場合，次のプロダクト名を使用します。 


    DWMOTIF_I18N

    kit_location

    日本語 DECwindows Motif の国際化キットを含むディレクトリ (装置名を含む) を指定します。
    日本語 DECwindows Motif V1.6 の国際化キットは，配布メディアの下記のディレクトリに含まれています。

    • I64 版： [JDECWI64016.KIT]

    • Alpha 版： [JDECWAXP016.KIT]


    たとえば，日本語 OpenVMS Alpha オペレーティング・システムの CD-ROM が DKA400 にマウントされている場合， kit_location は 


         DKA400: [JDECWAXP016.KIT]


    となります。この場合の PRODUCT コマンド全体の指定は，次のとおりです。 


    $ PRODUCT INSTALL DWMOTIF_I18N /SOURCE= DKA400:[JDECWAXP016.KIT]


    PRODUCT コマンド起動後，次の問い合わせに対して Return キーを押して，インストレーションを開始してください。

  3. インストールが実行されます。
    実際にインストレーションが実行されます。

       You can install Locale Language Variant of DECwindows Motif.


    これでインストレーションは完了しました。この後続いて日本語キットをインストールしてください。

2.3 日本語キットのインストレーション

次の手順に従って，日本語キットをインストールします。

  1. 特権付きアカウントにログインします。 


     Username: SYSTEM
 Password:

  2. POLYCENTER ソフトウェア・インストレーション・ユーティリティ (PCSI) を起動します。コマンドは次のとおりです。 


    $ PRODUCT INSTALL product_name /SOURCE=kit_location


    コマンド以下の要素は次のように定義されます。

    product_name

    プロダクト名です。キット名ではありません。
    日本語キットの場合，次のプロダクト名を使用します。 


    JDECW

    kit_location

    日本語 DECwindows Motif のキットを含むディレクトリ (装置名を含む) を指定します。
    日本語 DECwindows Motif V1.6 の日本語キットは，配布メディアの下記のディレクトリに含まれています。

    • I64 版： [JDECWI64016.KIT]

    • Alpha 版： [JDECWAXP016.KIT]


    たとえば，日本語OpenVMS Alpha オペレーティング・システムの CD-ROM が DKA400 にマウントされている場合， product_location は

  3. インストールするオプションを選択します。
    オプションについて PCSI から次のような問い合わせがあります。

    日本語 DECwindows Motif では，次のコンポーネントがオプションとしてインストールされます。

    日本語キーマップ (Japanese Keymaps)
    日本語 75dpi フォント (75dpi Japanese Font)
    日本語 100dpi フォント (100dpi Japanese Font)

    日本語 OpenVMS オペレーティング・システムのインストール時にすでにこれらのコンポーネントがインストールされている場合は，オプションのインストールは不要です。そうでない場合，あるいは不明の場合はすべてのオプションをインストールしてください。また，以前のバージョンの日本語 DECwindows Motif を削除して日本語 DECwindows Motif V1.6 をインストールする場合も，すべてのオプションをインストールしてください。詳しくは 第 1.5 節 を参照してください。
    すべてのオプションをインストールする場合，およびインストールしない場合の手順はそれぞれ次のとおりです。

  4. インストールが実行されます。
    実際にインストレーションが実行されます。

    These are required to run any DECwindows Motif/Japanese for OpenVMS 
    application.       
    
    If your system is already running DECwindows Motif, restart DECwindows 
    Motif with the following DCL command: 
            $ @SYS$MANAGER:DECW$STARTUP RESTART 
    
    If your system has not run DECwindows Motif yet, start DECwindows 
    Motif with the following DCL command: 
            $ @SYS$MANAGER:DECW$STARTUP


    これでインストレーションは完了しました。 DECwindows Motif のインストレーション前のシステム構成に応じて，DECwindowsを起動，または再起動する必要があることに注意してください。

第 3 章
インストレーション後の作業

日本語 DECwindows Motif をインストールした後，次の作業を行わなければなりません。

3.1 DECwindows Motif ソフトウェアの再起動

システムで DECwindows Motif をすでに起動している場合は，次の DCL コマンドを使用して DECwindows Motif を再起動します。 


$ @SYS$MANAGER:DECW$STARTUP RESTART

システムでまだ DECwindows Motif を起動していない場合は，次の DCL コマンドを使用して DECwindows Motif を起動します。 


$ @SYS$MANAGER:DECW$STARTUP

3.2 インストレーション検証プロシージャ (IVP) の実行

インストレーションが完了し，DECwindows Motif を再起動した場合は，インストレーション検証プロシージャ (IVP) を実行することを推奨します。次のコマンドを使用して，インストレーション検証プロシージャを実行します。 


$ @SYS$COMMON:[SYSTEST]DECW$IVP_JA_JP.COM

3.3 キーボードの省略時の設定

ワークステーションで日本語キーボードを使用している場合は，キーボードの省略時の設定をすることができます。

まず，キーボードを裏返してモデル番号を確認してください。システムにインストールされているキーマップは，スタイル・マネージャのキーボード，もしくはセッション・マネージャのキーボード設定のダイアログ・ボックス内のキーボード・リストに表示されます。この中から適当なものを選択し， DECW$DEFAULT_KEYBOARD_MAP に設定してください。

OpenVMS I64 システムで日本語 DECwindows Motif をお使いになる場合は，『日本語 DECwindows Motif リリース・ノート』の第 6 章の USB キーボードのサポートに関する項も参照してください。

第 4 章
インストレーション／アンインストレーション実行例

ここでは，インストレーションの実行例と旧バージョンを削除するアンインストレーションの例を紹介します。

4.1 インストレーション実行例

以下に，日本語OpenVMS Version 8.3 システムに国際化DECwindows Motif V1.6 および日本語DECwindows Motif V1.6 をインストールする場合の実行例を紹介します。

インストールは，国際化DECwindows Motif V1.6 ，日本語DECwindows Motif V1.6 の順に行います。

この例では，DECnet がシャットダウンしていて，ユーザがログインしていないことを前提としています。

4.1.1 国際化DECwindows Motif V1.6 のインストレーション


$ PRODUCT INSTALL DWMOTIF_I18N /source= DKA400:[JDECWAXP016.KIT]
