IBM has recently announced WebSphere MQ V5.3 for OpenVMS, bringing all the enhancements of this release to businesses running the legendary HP OpenVMS operating system. Customers can now integrate applications residing on OpenVMS on either HP AlphaServer systems or Integrity servers based on the IntelŪ ItaniumŪ 2 processor (in 32-bit mode) with all the features of market-leading IBM software for messaging and integration. This release comes with many performance enhancements on OpenVMS, achieved through close collaboration of HP OpenVMS and IBM software engineers.
