Retrobeep, the computer museum at the world-famous Bletchley Park, England, uses the HP OpenVMS Hobbyist
License to run a system emulating many classic operating systems. Visitors to the museum can access the system by using
VT52 and VT220 video terminals, DecWriter printing terminals, or ASR33
teletypes. The system also acts as a Web server and portal to the
emulators.

Currently we emulate operating systems for the PDP-8 and the PDP-11 systems, as
well as control programs for microprocessors (CP/M) and of course OpenVMS VAX. During 'in-steam' days
at the museum we also operate the same systems on the original hardware.
The system runs HP OpenVMS 7.3-2 on an AlphaServer 800 system, and we use SimH to
emulate the hardware and operating systems.
We have recently made the system available outside the museum at our
Retrobeep Web site.
