help with error messages (SKPDAT or otherwise)?

The Question is:

 
In various com file log files, I keep coming across the following error message:
 
%DCL-W-SKPDAT, image data (records not beginning with "$") ignored
 
What does this actually mean, as it doesn't seem to affect the running of the com file

The Answer is :
