barcode printing to HP printers?

The Question is:

 
I am running on alpha 1000A, wanting to take a database and
create a list of students names with a bar code printed in
the listing...
 
I have an HPlaser IIIsi queued to the alpha (printer of choice
for this project?)
 
any suggestions for software to accomplish this task?

  The Wizard is not in a position to recommend a solution for barcode
  printing, as the Wizard is not familiar with support for a barcode
  font nor with barcode software products with this particular HP
