The Question is: Sorry to bother you, but I would like to know the following :- In a login.com is the following $ logoff! What exactly does this mean, I am unable to get to the login.com file to comment it out! the account concerned is an application menu acoount that we were able to ctrl-z out of to give us access to certain oper priviliges, that they have taken away from our normal operator accounts!!! Yes crazy I know. Your help would be appreciated Regards Steve The Answer is : LOGOFF is not a valid OpenVMS command, but because of the expected four-character uniqueness of DCL commands, it does trigger the LOGOUT operation. Please contact your site system manager for further assistance with the local captive command procedure, and with the implementation of the local site security policy.
