DCPS-W-UNDEF, undefined: Name not known?

The Question is:

 
When printing several graphical Postscript files
on a DECLaser 3500 printer under Alpha VMS
6.2-1H3, the printer sometimes stops the second
job with the following error message :
"%DCPS-W-UNDEF, undefined: Name not known -
offending comand is xxx"
"%DCPS-E-FLUSHING, Rest of Job (to EOJ)
will be ignored".
xxx representing each time a different command.

The Answer is :

 
  Please contact the customer support center for assistance.
  Expect to be asked information on the version of DCPS involved.
  The printer appears be unable to recognize the "xxx" command.
