outbound telnet to a printer? (bypass telnetsym)

The Question is:

 
I am printing to printers on a network via queues
using telnetsym.  I need to print direct to these
printers without going thru the que.  How can this
be done?

  The answers depend on the particular printer and the particular IP
  package in use.  With the TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS (UCX) package,
  see the documentation of the "outbound telnet" support -- see the
