FTP file transfers and file formats? (take II)

The Question is:

 
Hi;
 
I'm trying to replace a Pathworks PC with an
NT workstation.  The Pathworks PC used NFT to
send a file to a VAX in stream_lf format.  If
I use FTP (UCX 4.2) I get a file in fixed length
512 byte records rather than stream_lf records.
The VAX application that uses this file can't
read the fixed length files.
 
How can I get FTP to create a stream_lf file
on the VAX?

The Answer is :

 
  Check for available TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS (UCX) ECOs and apply
  them, then check for previous discussions of FTP file transfers here
