The Question is: We are trying to print to a electronic form which is stored on the hard drive of our printer. The form call is imbedded in a library module which is called by a form. When I send a dummy text file from the command prompt to the print queue the text and the form merge successfully. My problem is we are sending the data string through a piece of software called AFTEC. In this system we assign their default print logical to a lta # which bypasses the print queue and my form and data do not merge successfully. Is there anyway I can r eassign this lta # to point to the a specific print queue where the proper form call is being made or is there any way I can assign a form to an lta#. If so, please let me know the syntax. The Answer is : Assuming that basic logical name redirection (LTAn: to the name of the print queue) does not operate in this context, please contact the maintainers of the AFTEC product for assistance. Much in the way of product names, versions, and example code is missing here -- this question is difficult to answer without this information.
