The Question is: I have just upgraded my Decserver 700 software to V1.1C. This puts a new version of WWENG1.SYS on to my system in MOM$LOAD. The problem is that the Decservers I have load WWENG2.SYS (for 4Mb servers) which does not come on the distribution. Are these files substantially different, or can I tell the server to load WWENG1.SYS? I have been asked to upgrade by the CSC to aid problem resolution. Steve Spires VMS Consultant Jaguar Cars The Answer is : This question is (well) outside the scope of the OpenVMS Wizard. Recent DECserver 700 devices -- generally those that were built after 1993 -- will default to requesting a load of the WWENG2.SYS image. There are significant differences between WWENG1.SYS and WWENG1.SYS. The DECserver 700 can select the system image using the command: CHANGE SERVER SOFTWARE WWENG2 Please re-contact the CSC for assistance with troubleshooting this problem, and in determining which file they expect you to be loading into the DECserver 700.
