Help configuring TCP/IP (UCX)?

The Question is:

 
Sorry, I'm not positive on the version of VMS,
 
I'm trying to help a client setup a static
route on their Alpha/OpenVMS UCX box.  What
would be the proper syntax to establish the
following static route.
 
Network: 172.31.254.4
Mask:    255.255.255.252
Gateway: 10.16.1.5
 
I've tested it in a lab with several UNIX boxes
but have no access to an OpenVMS machine.

The Answer is :

 
  The UCX$CONFIG procedure is the normal mechanism for configuring an
  OpenVMS system running TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS (UCX).  Please
  acquire and skim through the OpenVMS documentation for details.
