PATHWORKS 32 and Windows 98? (DECnet problems?)

The Question is:

 
I recently replaced my desktop system with a new system that has Windows 98
on it.  I have reinstalled Pathworks (Windows 95 version) and am able to
obtain a license from the server.  However, I can not get DecNet running.
Everytime I try anything on my
desktop, it tells me that DecNet is not installed.    Is there something
inherently incompatible between Win98 and DecNet or is it just me?
 
Keep up the good work, you are desperately needed by those of us who lack
your brains and good looks.  ;)

  PATHWORKS 32 V7.1A has support for Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, and
  Windows NT 4.0.  PATHWORKS 32 V7.2 adds support for Microsoft Windows 2000.
