Disabling CTRL/P on AlphaServer 1200?

The Question is:

 
On an Alphaserver 1200 is it possible to disable the
Control -P function on the Operator keyboard.
If so how do I do it?

The Answer is :

 
  Please contact the customer support center -- there is an unsupported
  procedure availble for various members of the AlphaServer 4100 series,
  of which the AlphaServer 1200 is one -- but the character set used in
  the disabling of sym:controlp_enable precludes safely posting it here
  without changing it.  (The character set includes the use of angle
  brackets, among other characters.)
