TCP/IP (UCX) multiple addresses per host?

The Question is:

 
I am trying to configure my host to have two or more IP addresses.  How can
I do this?

The Answer is :

 
  Information on setting up cluster alias and similar operations are
  covered in the TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS Management manual.  For
  information on providing additional addresses (with their own network
  and broadcast masks) see the information on defining IP addresses, and
  specifically defining pseudo interfaces (extended subnetwork routing).
  This information, too, is covered in the TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS
