Buffer Overruns on LAT line?

The Question is:

 
One of our customers has upgraded to OVMS 7.1 and after relinking our
software he is geting typeahead buffer overruns.  Ports are set to altypehd
which he has set up to 4096.  This software works fine on 5.4 & 6.X.
Devices on the decserver ports send 102
4 packets. Worked fine on OVMS 5.4.
 

The Answer is :

 
  The Wizard has encountered bugs that have been latent for over twenty
  years.  Please check for and apply any relevent ECO kits for the terminal
  driver and LAT, then please contact the customer support center.  Please
  expect to be asked for a reproducer, for the exact configuration, and for
