Y2K Readiness of VAX 8600?

The Question is:

 
I have a vax8600 that is booted from a pdp-11/44x.
It is running rt-11. Will it boot the vax when the year 2000
comes around? Do I need to change something?

  Please see the Y2K information referenced in the OpenVMS Frequently
  Asked Questions (FAQ).  Typically for the purposes of Y2K readiness
  reports, the console used for the VAX is not differentiated from the
  VAX system itself.  As repeatedly mentioned elsewhere, also seriously
  consider performing at least baseline Y2K testing of your local hardware
  and software configuration, and your critical applications.
