The Question is: I am running OpenVMS 6.2 on a VAX system. I am attempting to locate all SW that has been installed on the VAX and the version of the SW. Are there any DCL commands that can assist me without the Health Check service offered my Compaq (digital). Some of the 3rd party and home grown applications are being used, and some are not. I need to find all of them. The Answer is : There is unfortunately no easy way to do this on OpenVMS VAX. The usual approaches involve the VMSINSTAL.HISTORY file, the product licenses in use, and the release notes files in SYS$HELP:. Also please see "What products do I need?" and "Determining which ECOs have been installed?" here in Ask The Wizard.
